Thoughtful Wednesday: Time To Turn The Page

There is so much I want to express but the words evade me.

I am 100% ready for the page to turn into a new chapter, but this time is not my own doing. But today I feel like taking stock and organising the last three months of this year. I want to take note because I want to be able to say I really did something significant during 2010.

I still don’t know where the last nine months went. Yes, I finished my degree but after June, due to the weather, laziness took over me. But today I am going to plan the remaining three months because I want to live them in the full. It will be less talk more action.

In addition, my blog will go back to basics. I will write about beauty products, fitness tips and organising my life in general.

Autumn is my favourite season and I am glad I am alive to greet it. It is the month in which a seed should be sewed so that in spring the fruit will ripe to blossom! Autumn should be the season of new beginnings.

How do you feel? Have you ever felt like you are ready for a new page to open in your life?

Please share with me.

  1. I started a new chapter in my life when I started this blog and now it seems like I'm starting yet another chapter with my recent move back to the city. Life is about changes and constantly moving forward. So I'm sure that another new chapter is in store for me soon.

  2. A resounding heck yes! I really liked this line "Autumn is my favourite month and I am glad I am alive to greet it."
I am also greatful to be alive although sometimes I think we all take for granted and feel heavy burdened even having to put one leg over the other to get out of the bed.
I feel like I'm ready for a change of scenery, a move, a new job, and the fact that I have to remain patient where I am sometimes drains me. I do thank God I do have a job, and so I try not to complain and forget the simple blessings in life. I'm glad you feel the need to shift mentalities and are making that change. I also feel the need to refocus my blog, and plan to do so in the next month or two.
    Thanks for this post.

  7. Hey lady. I thought of you today and was going to email you because I hadn't seen you in a while and then realized it was because I hadn't been on blogger. LOL. I LOVE autumn (which is why I got married in this season).

Reevaluating and refocusing should really be done seasonally. I thinking we get stuck in the doing and forget to see where the doing is getting us. I hope that new page you turn is filled with lots of stuff you wanna do and be.
