Retrieving My Summer Holidays In Italy

Finally I've located my photos for my summer holidays in Italy. For my participation in Sundays In My City hosted by Unknown Mami I would like to share with you some shots from that holiday.

"
The sky was blue and the sun was shining - I was marvelled. I relaxed on my seat and breathed in the warm air. I felt the sensation going through my bones. The breeze from the window took me to heaven and back. I was in love with the landscape as never before." from my Summer Holiday In Italy.

Picturesque landscape surrounds the swimming pool...

...and nature and hills everywhere my eyes turned...

Vicenza: the monumental architecture...
...the chilled-out life and more picturesque landscape...

oh, and you are never too old to be fashionable in Italy...

Oh Verona, Verona, why thou art Verona?...
The Arena...

Romantic Romeo and Juliet's Castle...
and the walk through the piazza...
And again the beautiful landscape... (I was blessed to walk the street of Verona)

Back to my hometown about 50mins drive from Verona...
Upon the hill, immersed in the green vegetation, stands the Castle in which I spent some of my best teen days... The castle in which, surrounded by our beloved family, Hubby and I promised the eternity to each other in 2005...
This is the place where life found me. The place which is the backdrop of the many stories I am going to publish one day :)! The place that "no matter how much pain, some of its inhabitants have caused me, I still call home because first love is hard to forget."

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
