This is a not-for-profit agency which provide free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million New York City children from disadvantaged communities. Since 1877 the agency has been helping children enjoy their summer in a way that they might not have the possibility to do if they are not offered a free day out.

Fresh Air children is involved, excited and forward-thinking throughout the year and although the summer is over they still need people's help. NYC children are currently participating in Fresh Air programs, from weekly tutoring sessions to job shadowings to weekend retreats at Fund camps in upstate New York! Their Career Awareness Program serves more than 300 youngsters in middle and high school. They also have new leadership programs for young women to develop their “can-do” attitudes! Please read more here.

This post is written to raise awareness about the charity.
