iLove Tuesday Tunes For Berry: Natural Woman

THANKS LADIES FOR YOUR TIPS and INSIGHTS ON THE CLOTH DIAPERING SEARCH! IT IS SO HELPFUL TO HAVE YOUR OPINION and I ALREADY FEEL LIKE I AM ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE GAME, ;D.

Today Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman is on the loop. I don’t think this song is not only from a woman to her man. It  explains how I am feeling right in this moment of my pregnancy, especially when I catch a glimpse of my pregnant belly or I look at the hundreds of pictures I am taking of my myself – I don’t post them because they might be boring for you to see, hmmm.

In these pictures I look like a natural woman, but feel like a happy teenager, LOL. However, I believe I will feel like a natural woman once I have Berry in my arms. So, I am adding this song to Berry’s birth playlist.

…But your love …[is] the key to my peace of mind…

…Now I'm no longer doubtful of what I'm living for…

…You make me feel so good inside
And I just want to be close to you
You make me fell so alive
Cause you make me feel, you make me feel, you make me feel like a natural woman

Questions: Which tune are you listening to today? Did you play music at your childbirth? Do you think you will play music when is your turn?

Please share any song that you believe would be appropriate for a birth playlist :).

  1. I didn't make a birth play list. I just brought my favorite C.D's with me, and I was doing something called hypnobabies which is a bunch of C.D's that I listened to while in labor which helped with breathing and made my mind feel the pain less, I did not get an epidural.

  2. Well...let me put it like this. I walked with EVERYTHING. Even my own diaper for my daughter. I didn't use anything I needed for me to be calm. There was so much that went wrong with my delivery. Music, candles, breathing methods and so on was never on my mind. I wish I had a beautiful story to tell.

I wish you a healthy, safe and happy pregnancy. Feel free to stop by my blog and ask questions.

  3. Hey there! I love that song. I have been reading along but not commenting as much due to my hectic schedule lately. I'm glad you and Berry are doing well. YOu've got such a cute pregnant belly :)

  4. @Keya, I would love to go through labor without epidural. And the songs choices might help my breathing and focus. What is C.Ds?

@Mrs K, I like hearing from you so much. Yes, Berry and I are doing well. Thanks for the compliment and I can't wait till you are free from your hectic schedule - I understand because I was there few months ago :).
