Baby Pimples?

Hello December!

seems yesterday {not really} when January came open us. So much have changed since then. My big dream came true and we have our sweet daughter in our arms :). I hope this month is full of joy for everyone!!!

Now unto the baby pimples. I am worried because Miss AOI has the worse rash all over her pretty face.PC016130

My mother told me to go to the pharmacy and ask for something which will help. The midwife and doula say it is normal for her skin to break out like this because her body system is adapting to our populated environment after being in a clean environment that is my womb. Apparently it is called baby pimples {do I make sense?}. As a mother I wonder if it will go away soon without any manipulation. I am freaking out [in moderation].

Tomorrow we have lunch with some friends and I don’t know what to do! To go or not to go out for lunch? What would you do?

Question:  Did your child get baby pimples? Do you have any tip?

  2. Congratulations Toi!!! SHe's soooo beautiful! Don't worry about those baby pimples. It doesn't hide her beauty one bit. My baby girl had the same thing and it went away on its own. I really wouldn't worry about it. Many blessing to you and your family. Can't wait to see more pics!

  3. So beautiful! Don't put anything on it! My baby boy had the same thing and his ped said do not put anything on it- maybe you should check with her pediatrician. YOur hormones are still in her body and this is the reaction it causes- totally normal. She's gorgeous either way but contact her doc if your that concerned.

  4. CONGRATULATIONS!!! She is gorgeous!
Just wanted to say, Don't worry about the pimples, Ethan had the same - don't treat it with anything. Her skin is just getting used to being on the outside. He had his till about 10 weeks old then I noticed it had gone. It may have been coz we stopped using typical baby products on him and used aveeno instead.

same as cradlecap if she gets it; I hated it on him and it was noticeable as he didnt have much hair! I used e45 on his head and let it sit over night and then brushed it out before his bath the next morning xx

  5. she's so sweet! my daughter had the same thing. leave it alone and it will go away. putting creams, oils or lotions on it can make it worse.

  8. This is definitely normal! I was told it is one of the baby's ways of getting rid of "mommy hormones" she got in the womb. It goes away on its own in a few weeks/months.

    She is beautiful. :)

  12. It goes away! The Boy had it too. He also had little "boobies" from all of my hormones too, and those also went away.

    Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!

  13. I agree with all of the advice. However, you can always ask your pediatrician to look at it. It would put your mind at ease.

  16. My daughter had that. Don't pop them, they will go away on their own. It's normal, so no need to worry. I was like that when I first saw my daughter breaking out. Googled the crap out of it, when I was going through it.

She looks beautiful by the way.
