Shabby Apple Giveaway

I am in the process of organising my summer wardrobe and looking through my clothes I realised that I’ve been wearing too many jeans. I also concluded that jeans or trousers don’t suit my new body shape. I must be bold and donate some of my size Small and Medium outfits, because truth is I am  not going to fit into them anytime soon and the more I see them the more I get depressed.

Most important thing I am packing my suitcases {Emily and Faith and Shanique are coming too} and I have to decide what to wear during this trip in Europe. I want to be like a lady, wearing more dresses and skirts that fit my frame. This reminds me, once upon a time I was into vintage/retro and bohemian style but I lost my sense of style over the years. However, last summer I decided that to flatter my new shape I had to go back to my bohemian style. I bought new things but this year don’t fit anymore. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This time instead of feeling bad about my new weight, I am looking to find new vintage and bohemian outfits. I really like Shabby Apple, the online dress boutique that specializes in vintage and retro dresses. I really feel like few things in my wardrobe to vamp it up a little.

More of less this is how I envisage my 2013 European/summer wardrobe. Click vintage dresses to view these collections {also, don’t forget to check out below to see the giveaway details}

  4. I think you look great just how you are. I love the yellow skirt <333. I'm one of those women who runs around in yoga stretch pants all the time :\

    I always say that the great thing about weight is it can be lost. I'm more over weight now than I ever have been my whole life :\ I just can't get to the gym, I'm looking to purchase an exercise machine of some sort.

  10. I think that yellow skirt you are wearing is lovely and really suits you. I also spent a few years having completely lost my style, it only just kind of snapped back recently after about three years of wearing tracksuits and jeans. Weird...

  11. I love this photograph of you in the yellow skirt! And love your new philosophy about your new body and new fashion. When I watched Hungry for Change a few weeks ago - I discovered the practice of looking in the mirror twice a day and saying "I accept myself unconditionally." I can't wait to see your new outfits and - you're going to Europe? When? Where? Details please! hugs & xx Phyllis
