Week 30: One Day at a Time

Thank everyone who stopped by to wish me well. I am getting better and taking it one day at a time.

paddling poolThe past week was good to be away from blog-land, but I am glad to be back.

I have so much update to do but I can’t find the words so for now I will just focus on our everyday simple life and omit week 24-29 until I find the words.

So last week, after few days jetlag AOI and I got ourselves into a routine and now she has one nap a day, we go to the playground and have some play dates.

Friday we went to one of our local paddling pools near by and it was fun to see AOI and her little friend play together. It was reassuring that AOI was taking leave from me, because during our holiday she wouldn’t let me out of her side or daddy’s side for a second and it was worrying me. But now that we are back into a own familiar place, she feels confident enough to play with other children she never seen before.

Friday evening we went to a party and also here AOI was open and free with everyone.

Saturday hubby went to work in the morning but once he got home in the afternoon we worked together getting the house back into a normal state. He mowed the lawn while I did more clothes washing.

Sunday we went to church and in the afternoon we went to a friend’s house to pick up raspberries.

We are trying to enjoy the little things in our every day life and I pray God for protection..

  1. I'm so happy you're feeling better and loved your description of your weekend. Hoping - too - that whatever was overwhelming has eased at bit. This my second summer of blogging has convinced me that maybe there's a different nature the blog takes during summer - slower, lazier even x

  2. that looks like an awesome time at the pool. i love watching kids have fun in those. sometimes it's good to take a long break from blogging but it's wonderful to see you back.

  3. Glad you are back and praying for peace and words to come your way! A lovely weekend nurses the soul!

  4. Happy you are getting better...yes "taking it one day at a time" is a good strategy.

  5. I love the photograph <3 I'm sorry the past few weeks have been upsetting to you. :( *prayers your way*

  6. Glad AOI has a nice routine and is opening back up to exploring the world around her!

  7. enjoying the little things is my life's motto these days... wonderful photos. glad you're getting better. :)

Yes, I L*O*V*E them and look forward to receive great advice and encouragement. Let me know you are here, just write hi :)
