  • A part from our usual routine {me going to the gym on Saturday and daddy taking the kids for food shopping trip} we went to the zoo after lunch then went to the Ghanaian Independence Celebration Party where I self appointed myself the official photographer. The children enjoyed the event and I’m so happy to go a Ghanaian event this allows me to expose my Ghanaian culture to my children.

  1. I think exposing your children to your Ghanaian culture is amazing! I've been wanting to mail in Dominic's DNA (mouth swab) and see what part of Africa his ancestors are from. His dad is American and obviously his blood line come from slaves and nobody would know which region or tribe etc he'd be descended from. I'm not sure they want to know, but I'd like to find out for Dominic.

Anyway, I love all your weekend pictures. I adore the hat you have on Mr. T.

  2. It's amazing that you can get do the mouth swab to get to know a person's ancestors' background. I believe Dominic would love to know where his ancestors are from when he gets older.

Thank you for the compliment about the pictures. The hat comes from Colombia and it's great for Saskatchewan harsh winter days

Yes, I L*O*V*E them and look forward to receive great advice and encouragement. Let me know you are here, just write hi :)
